OCTOBER
Omar's amazing talent was
recognised at the recent ROC Urban Music Seminar
- Respect Due Awards. The long term success of
his debut track, There's Nothing Like This ,was awarded
at the prestigious event. The award ceremony followed the
sixth annual Urban
Music Seminar, a free event which was set up
to offer valuable advice to up and coming talent. Omar headed
up a panel of advisors. Other big names involved in the
event included Damon Dash, Mica Paris, Rhian Benson and
many more. Congratulations Omar!

...Omar performed at London's CC Club for the MTV
Base show, Baselounge, this month. The show will
be broadcast regularly over the coming month on MTV Base.
...Be Thankful, with
Angie Stone, has now been released on promo in the US and
will be followed by it's public release alongside Omar's
last album, Best By Far in next month. You can look forward
to an extensive US tour for the album release. Look out
for the dates
